What about Seated Dimes I love

In my opinion it is a very underrated series, loaded with rare coins that are first starting to rise in value. A bit on seated dimes. They were first minted in 1837 without stars on the obverse. These were added in 1838. The drapery was added in 1841. One of the great rare seated dimes is the 1841 O with the 1840 reverse. This is know as the closed bud variety. There are many key coins to this series but few would argue that the 1874 cc is the key date to the seated dime series. About 100 exist in all graded and locating a problem free example will be a great challenge. A heavily worn example in the lowest of grades may bring over $5000 at auction. This is well above the "book" value. Seated dimes are a great series and a complete basic set by date and mint will take many years of hard work to complete. I have some new coin which are currently unknown that I will be posting soon. I would encourage you to check out the seated boards if you have an interest in seated coinage.

I have added a new site called Seated dime which shows the rarest Seated dimes there are.

I have created a page that list my Ebay tip and tricks for those who do not know them. That page is www.seated.info

I was holding the page www.seated.us for the LSCC but as they have secured a domain this site is up for sale. If you are interested in buying it feel free to contact me.
